Google has officially sold the Performics Search business to ad agency holding company Publicis. This move was promised by Google a few months ago and is therefore no shock to anyone. Publicis owns several large ad agencies who could all benefit from the 200+ search employees employed by Performics. This also officially seperates Google from the Performics brand after recently rebranding the affiliate side of their business to “Google Affiliate Network“.
